Fall colors and snow
« Fall and the End of Summer | The Last Leaves of Fall »

It's true ... it did snow. What a difference a day (or two) can make. Last Thursday was a lovely fall day with temperatures barely reaching 40; but sunny and perfect for a fall bonfire. There was little hint that the weather would change so drastically.
Several lake residents arrived Friday afternoon and they faced the blustery north wind to cross the lake. More snow and more cold over the weekend, and yet today here we are with full sun and a beautiful, if still cold day ahead.
